Come, Celebrate the Journey!
“Life is a journey, not a destination.” Whether we heard those words of wisdom from Aerosmith or Ralph Waldo Emerson, life IS a unique journey for each of us. How often have we spoken of making our way in life, taking the right path, coming to a fork in the road, or finding strength for the journey?
Yet, I’d think we would acknowledge that our path in life has been filled with blessings as well…blessings bestowed on us by a God who wants nothing but good things for us. Jesus himself said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Even in the midst of a bad economy, we really do have much for which to be grateful. But how often do we take the time to thank God for all the good things in our lives? How often do we acknowledge and celebrate those good things?
On Sunday, September 25th at 10am, at the Blue Valley Farm Show building, there will be ample opportunity to do just that!
